Over the course of my last year in the honors program, I completed my senior honors thesis. I decided to look at the reasons behind attrition and retention of music therapy majors. This is very important when we look forward to the future of the profession as student music therapists are the future. I was able to present my research at the online Midwest Region of the American Music Therapy Association Student Passages conference. With the COVID-19 pandemic, I was unsure if I would get to present my research, but I am very glad that I was able to and that the conference was moved online. Attached is my full thesis. It is one of the things that I am most proud of from my time at Drury.
