Looking Up
After a particularly hard junior year, my senior year was the light at the end of the tunnel. I began to look for music therapy internships, I took classes that interested me, and I worked in practicum sessions that reignited my love for music therapy. During the first semester, I attended the National Music Therapy conference in Minneapolis, MN. I also applied to several internships. Although I got rejected by a couple, I was able to accept an internship. I also made the Dean's list, continued to work at Technology Services, and worked on my honors thesis. Unfortunately, my senior year was cut short on campus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had to leave my friends and the place I called home suddenly, but I finished my last semester of coursework strong.
