Honors 204: First Year Honors Seminar - A study in comedy

The attached document is one of my proudest papers. This is our honors research proposal. We had to create an entire research proposal and literary review on a topic of our choice while relating it back to comedy. In mine, I studied how humor could effect formal sorority recruitment. This was very interesting to me and very insightful. I got to pick something I'm passionate about, greek life, and relate it to a class.

Lifespan Development: This was the first class that I wrote an honors contract for. This means that I turned the class into an honors class as was able to dive deeper into the topics than I would have if I had just taken the class. I was able to learn more about music therapy with individuals with Alzheimer's Disease. This set me up for future practicums where I worked with adults in a memory care unit. I loved getting to work with the professor of this course individually and getting to present over my major to the rest of the class.
